From Lillie-
“In early November, I attended the Rotary’s Camp Enterprise for three days and met brilliant and wonderful students who also had a passion for learning. Students were from all over MN and parts of WI and were so motivated! I was really inspired by how each of them are incredibly talented in their own way.
I was also very challenged at camp. It was necessary to stay engaged and motivated in order to get the most out of camp enterprise. We often took notes while we listened to local company owners speak about their innovations and discoveries that helped build the success of their companies.
During my time at camp enterprise I was selected to be the CEO of my team’s company that we had 3 days to create before presenting our ideas to judges.
Since the beginning of camp I was aware that 5 out of the 100 students attending camp would each receive a $1,000 scholarship. To earn this scholarship one would have to exceed leadership and participation expectations while also writing a compelling essay that we were given 4 hours to complete. I am very thankful to say I was selected to be one of those students.
In summary, I could not have been more grateful to attend Camp Enterprise. It has truly been an eye opening experience and I’ve never been a part of anything like it.”

Through a variety of engaging activities, often brought forth through our pathways partners, our students are empowered to imagine and identify new careers that they were not previously considering.
