FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Maplewood, MN. – We are absolutely thrilled to share the incredible news about the Rotary Club of North St Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale! Recently, during one of our meetings, we had the pleasure of hosting Timothy and Nicol from Meals on Wheels, who shed light on a pressing issue in our community. It came to our attention that one of their freezers was in dire need of replacing. Without hesitation, the Rotary Club decided to act and provide the necessary support to ensure that Meals on Wheels could continue their invaluable work. We were determined to make a difference and give back to our community in a meaningful way.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the Rotary Club generously donated the funds needed to purchase a brand-new freezer for Meals on Wheels. With excitement and anticipation, we eagerly awaited the delivery of this vital appliance. Last week, our efforts culminated in a moment of triumph as the new freezer arrived at its destination. It was a sight to behold – a symbol of our community’s unwavering support and commitment to helping those in need.
The impact of this donation cannot be overstated. Meals on Wheels plays an essential role in our community, providing nourishment and companionship to individuals who may otherwise go without. Their service extends far beyond simply delivering meals; it is a lifeline for many vulnerable individuals who rely on their support. By ensuring that their operations run smoothly with a functional freezer, we are enabling Meals on Wheels to continue their mission and bring hope to countless lives.
This act of community support exemplifies what the Rotary Club stands for – making a difference where it matters most. We believe that by working together, we can create a stronger and more compassionate society. It is through initiatives like this that we can uplift our community and make a lasting impact. The Rotary Club is proud to be part of this collective effort to improve the lives of those around us.
As we reflect on this incredible accomplishment, let us not forget the power of unity and the ripple effect it can have. The Rotary Club of North St Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale saw a need and responded with unwavering determination. Through our donation, we have not only provided Meals on Wheels with a new freezer but also sent a message of hope and solidarity to our entire community.
Said Club President Rachelle Menanteau Peleska, “We are filled with excitement as we share the news of our club’s donation to Meals on Wheels. Our commitment to community support knows no bounds, and this gesture is a testament to our unwavering dedication. Together, we have made a tangible difference in the lives of those who rely on Meals on Wheels for sustenance and companionship. Let us continue to work together, hand in hand, as we strive for a brighter future for all.”
